He's been going from business to business and person to person shaking hand after hand-- a universal business sign of "sealing the deal". The Cardshirt Company's six foot something tall president with one hand that is most likely bigger than both of yours combined has been putting in a lot of effort this summer to help make our first event of the year, Cardsfest, a huge success. He's been talking with businesses to help donate to and support our event.
Bob Muntis, a current junior at the University of Louisville, is entering his second year as president for The Cardshirt Company and has been able to re-brand the company over the past year. The motto of the company "Students Helping Students", is an evident passion that Muntis carries with him in his business practices. The business has increased sales and reached new heights within the past year, meaning that more scholarship opportunities are available for students and are continuing to break new records within the company.
The company's objective is to teach students business practices that they can carry into their lives after they graduate. Students are able to create their own projects, offer different designs, and connect with each other in practical business situations. Muntis has been able to mentor students to learn how to act in business situations before they work in real-world situations. It all started with a shirt and now, in part to the president, it is more than just that. It is the handshake behind it all that has been able to improve the lives of others through business practices.
On a final note, please come out to our free event, Cardsfest, hosted on Saturday, August 29th from 5-10 at the Red Barn on the University of Louisville's Belknap Campus.
